Once on my way to my
government job at the time, here in Victoria, I headed to work by way of the Royal Conservatory of Music,
which was at the time being renovated. I
hit my head on part of the metal securing the building and was dazed after, but
the project was urgent so I went to work anyway. So with an ice pack on my head I took notes
and later, still dazed, showed my supervisor how to use part of the program we
were using. I scored points for work dedication that time, though oddly a later
position my coming in while a bit injured was deemed a poor work ethic. But at the time I impressed people.
